This policy explains the cookies, local browser storage, analytics, and consent controls used on discfunktional.com. The controls below are part of the policy and can be revisited at any time.
Essential cookies and storage
Essential technologies support WordPress and WooCommerce sessions, cart contents, checkout, account login, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, consent storage, and core site operation. Disabling them in the browser can prevent the store or account tools from working.
The consent system uses cookies including cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics, and cmplz_marketing. The configured duration is up to 365 days so the site can remember the saved choice. WordPress, WooCommerce, payment, and security cookie names and durations can vary by session, login status, and provider version.
Preferences and browser-only tool data
Bag Builder, Disc Finder, putting plans, challenges, email-popup suppression, and similar tools may use local storage or session storage in your browser. Locally stored tool data stays on that browser and is not linked to a signed-in account unless you migrate supported data into the account; bag names, notes, and other entries can still identify you or another person. Local storage usually remains until it is cleared by the user, browser, or feature; session storage usually ends with the browser session.
Optional analytics
When Analytics is accepted, Google Analytics through Site Kit and Microsoft Clarity may receive online identifiers, device and browser details, approximate location, referring pages, page and feature interactions, diagnostics, and session or heatmap information designed to show how the site is used. Clarity masks input and dropdown content in its recording modes and does not upload masked content; other page and interaction content depends on the project’s masking configuration. Rejecting optional analytics prevents analytics cookies and full optional measurement and keeps Clarity blocked. Google’s denied consent mode may still send limited cookieless consent or measurement signals such as consent state, timestamp, referrer, browser/user-agent details, and request or IP-derived information.
Marketing technologies
The consent system contains a reserved Marketing category, but the user-facing panel currently hides it because the reviewed configuration does not identify active advertising, personalized-advertising, social-media, or first-party marketing cookies. If those technologies are introduced, the category must be activated and the consent controls and this policy must be updated before use. Email subscription status is managed separately through MailPoet and does not become consent merely because a cookie category is enabled.
Embedded and third-party content
A payment button, video, map, or other third-party embed can make a connection to its provider when loaded or used. Account login pages load and present the Google Sign-In client, which may send Google the device, browser, network-request, and IP-address information needed to deliver it even if you do not continue with Google login; choosing it also exchanges the account information described in the Privacy Policy. Where supported, the consent system should block other nonessential embedded services until the relevant choice is made. External links open services governed by their own cookie and privacy practices.
Manage your choices
Use the category controls below or the persistent Manage Consent button to review or change optional choices. The initial banner provides Accept all, Reject optional, and Manage choices. Expanded and reopened controls provide the category switches and Save choices action. You can also delete or block cookies in browser settings, but essential store and account features may stop working. Withdrawing consent does not remove data already processed before withdrawal; use the Contact page for a related privacy request.
Do Not Track and other browser signals
The site does not currently change behavior in response to an ordinary browser “Do Not Track” signal because there is no single accepted implementation standard. Use Manage Consent for the site’s optional analytics controls. A legally binding opt-out preference signal will be handled when and to the extent required by applicable law.
Changes and contact
Cookies and provider behavior can change as the store and tools change. The policy date will be updated after a material change or a new scan that changes the disclosed categories. Use the Contact page for questions.
