Who publishes our articles

DiscFunktional Editorial is the organization byline for articles researched, written, edited, and maintained by DiscFunktional. It is not a fictional reporter or a claim that we attended an event. When an article summarizes a tournament, election, course opening, or other developing story, we rely on the primary and clearly identified sources linked in that article.

Our source standard

• Time-sensitive claims should be checked against first-party sources such as the PDGA, the Disc Golf Pro Tour, an event organizer, a city or parks department, or a manufacturer.
• Results, dates, locations, rules, voting windows, and schedule changes are dated so readers can tell when the information was current.
• News recaps link to their supporting sources. We distinguish confirmed facts from interpretation and practical player takeaways.
• Evergreen guides are reviewed for clarity, usefulness, and safe, realistic advice. Product recommendations may link to DiscFunktional products when they are relevant.

Dated news is not live coverage

Our news posts are snapshots from the publication date, not a live newswire. A later result, schedule change, correction, or official announcement can supersede a dated recap. Readers should use the linked primary source for the latest official status.

Images and graphics

We use original DiscFunktional photography and graphics, properly attributed licensed media, and other rights-safe assets. Editorial graphics are labeled when they are illustrations rather than event photography. We do not present generated or unrelated imagery as a real player, real tournament moment, or on-site report.

Commercial transparency

DiscFunktional is a disc golf brand and retailer. Some guides link to products we sell. Those links support the business, but they do not change official scores, dates, rules, or source citations. We aim to recommend a product or tool only where it serves the reader’s stated task.

Corrections and updates

If you find a factual error, missing attribution, broken source, or image-rights concern, send the article URL and the specific issue through our contact page. We will check the request against the best available primary source. Material corrections are made in the article and reflected by its updated date when appropriate.
