Course Captains are our city and course ambassador applicants. City Ambassadors help check a local guide across several courses; Course Ambassadors focus on courses they know and can visit. Share first-hand knowledge, useful public sources, and realistic availability to help keep DiscFunktional guides accurate.
Terrain, footing, weather exposure, navigation, travel, and gear notes that materially help a player plan.
Use official park, club, event, map, or governing sources for claims that can be verified.
Submit only images, quotes, names, and links that can legally and ethically be published.
Connect local layouts to Bag Builder, Disc Finder, or Practice Lab examples without presenting opinion as fact.
Flag changed baskets, access rules, fees, closures, or safety information with the best available source.
Do not publish private contact details, precise personal locations, or information a person has not approved.
What makes a helpful course note
- Specific enough to help a visiting or newer player.
- Clear about what is verified, observed, estimated, or still unknown.
- Written in direct language without unsupported superlatives.
- Updated when a material official detail changes.
How applications work
- Apply below with the cities and courses you can cover, local experience, public source links, and visit frequency.
- DiscFunktional reviews the private application for useful coverage, accuracy, source quality, and availability. We may contact you by email for clarification or a sample correction.
- If there is a fit, we confirm the role, update process, and permissions with you before any public credit or profile appears.
Applications are open. Submitting does not appoint an ambassador, authorize publishing, or promise payment, free gear, or sponsorship. Marketing signup is optional and separate from application review.
