Read the answers, pick the people you trust, and get it done before the month gets away from you.

Course access note: water wins
Diamond Valley in Alberta posted that its disc golf course is closed until further notice because high water on the Sheep River has impacted the course. The town is also telling people to stay out of the area and away from riverbanks.
That is a local closure, but the bigger reminder travels well. Low-lying fairways, creek crossings, and river-adjacent holes can change fast after heavy water. If your home course has drainage trouble, do the boring smart thing: check local updates before you drive over, skip flooded holes, and let parks crews protect the place.
USWDGC prep is getting real
The 2026 US Women’s Disc Golf Championship page has fresh competitor planning notes dated June 30. The event runs July 16 to 19 in Salt Lake City, with play spread across Brighton, Creekside, Roots, and Dragonfly.
The useful part for travelers is the elevation and weather prep. Brighton sits around 9,000 feet, valley courses will be much warmer, and the guidance calls out sun, dry air, mountain layers, recovery time, and possible smoke or air quality changes. If you are playing, caddying, volunteering, or spectating, start packing like the venues are four different little climates.

No need to overcook today. Vote if you can, catch the Swedish Open follow-up if you want the tour storyline, and respect course closures when weather takes over. That is the disc golf homework for July 1.
